JSCAPE Reverse Proxy 1.0

JSCAPE Reverse Proxy is a platform independent server designed to offer reverse proxy and load balancing for your existing network services. In addition to supporting any TCP/IP based protocol, JSCAPE Reverse Proxy is designed to handle the complexities of file transfer protocols FTP, FTPS (explicit and implicit) and SFTP.

JSCAPE Reverse Proxy is unique when compared to competing solutions in that it provides reverse proxy and load balancing support for both the control and data connections used in FTP and FTPS protocols. Many generic solutions claim to offer support for FTP and FTPS protocols but in reality can only support the control connection (connection used to exchange commands between client and server) and cannot handle the data connection (connection used to exchange file and directory listing data). This can easily complicate file transfers and become the source of many technical support issues down the road. JSCAPE Reverse Proxy solves this problem using smart protocol translation software allowing it to handle both control and data connections.В
